The Administrative Side of Ministry

Today it was just Sean and Kimy and myself and we talked almost fully about administration and getting ready for the Fall.

We have to become an official club so we talked about:

Today was a fun day. It was my first time back on campus in over a month and we had a great conversation. Two new people showed up. Nothing

I was all set to go to campus and pray with Kimy and the team, but I got a call about an hour before saying she had to cancel. It was just too busy of  a week with her youth responsibilities at church and they had a big event that night.

So nothing this week.

I am not frustrated. She has been so consistent and this is the reality of giving part of your time to an endeavor. Things come up.

*If I am going to let this be a student led plant, then I am going to hang back when they don’t go. I coach, they lead!

Continuing to Pray

I am still away from campus and have not been able to get there in almost a month. But Long Beach State students keep showing up and partnering with Kimy. In the video below you hear them talking about how they encountered a guy on a prayer walk and they seem very encouraged by that. It also seems like they did some worship though singing on campus too.

I just love their consistency to show up and pray and just be on the campus. This is the dull-drum of summer.
